Why I Do What I Do

Knowing I am loved for who I am, with no need to change anything, no obligation to become better or different is such a gift!

I sat with about a thousand other meditators in a giant mosquito-screened open tent listening to our spiritual guide’s discourse.

This teacher had saved my life. When I initially met him, I felt completely and utterly loved and accepted as I was for the first time in my life. Even though I actually never met him in person! Just being in his presence while he was talking in front of this large group of disciples was enough to sense his vibe of unconditional love. And that changed my life forever.

“I

n his discourse, he mentioned research done on twins. How, when one of the twins dies, the other also immediately passes away or not very long afterward, especially when they are identical twins.

It shook me to the core! I had just come back to India from a short stay in Germany, where I attended the funeral of my 23-year-old identical twin sister. She had been killed by her mentally deranged boyfriend.

And there I was back in my life in India, in my spiritual teacher’s Ashram, and he was talking about death.

I thought: “Okay! Sure, I’m grieving, I’m angry, I’m shaken, but I am most certainly beyond all this because my path is so very different from my twin sister’s!”

Then I heard my teacher’s voice talking about twins and their connection, leading to death! And immediately in my head, a voice cried out: “I don’t want to die.”

The Transformation

Suddenly my research to transform the suffering created by negative stories and traumas became even more relevant. How could I find ways to free myself from them and live a life of possibilities, love, joy, and laughter?

This Ashram was extraordinary. It had a wide variety of Eastern and Western therapies available; I immediately began working through my issues with different therapy methods to help me get out of the pre-traced pattern of violence and suffering.

In addition, I studied and continue to learn healing modalities in energy work, body-work and body-related psychotherapeutic approaches. But most of all, I practice the healing power of mindfulness with a non-judgemental attitude, an open heart and a loving presence.

My Mission

My passion and mission now are to assist others who are suffering and are searching for a way to transform self-destructive conditioning and negative stories to have a life they love that’s open to joy, awareness and choices!

It’s also an immense pleasure to me connecting body and mind! To help you listen to the wisdom in your body to become clear about what you need to feel better. I am blessed with hands that never have failed me. Touch that knows what’s required. Following the guidance of my hands and utilizing all the information from my training and practice over the last 30-something years benefit my clients immensely!

My Journey

And that has been my journey: Finding ways to let go, transform, and transmute all the suffering I had culturally from the Holocaust as a German, generationally, from incest throughout my family’s history, and personally through the death of my brother and my identical twin.

Here I am, more than 30 years after the death of my twin sister, still alive, better than ever, still learning, and guiding, accompanying my clients to continue their healing and live an enriched and joyful life! A life in which they are aware that they are okay, fine, exactly right, as they are. That they are whole and that there is light and everything they need to know within themselves.

I am holding the space for you to be and feel whole again.
To know that you are loved and that all you need is already there.
Let’s dis- and uncover it together.

I use Jin Shin Do Acupressure, the Hakomi method of assisted Self-Study in Mindfulness, Law of Attraction Coaching, Reiki, Touch Skills for Trauma Therapists and many other massage and touch modalities to lead you home.

AND LAST, BUT NOT LEAST I WANT TO GIVE THANKS AND BLESSINGS:

Thank you life force – for giving me this body that is so well functioning.

Thank you, Universe, for allowing me to live this journey in a body and experience higher levels of consciousness.

Thank you to all the Beings on my way who helped, nourished, inspired, and saved me.
Sometimes it seems like a miracle that I’m still here on this earth in this body.

My first spiritual master, Osho and my first boyfriend, Eckhard, who were so gracious and saved me from my negative tendencies and conditioning; my spiritual masters, Mooji and Byron Katie; my former life partners, Agam, Avinash and Louis; my dear friend Barbara; a teacher in high school; my sister Irene; my parents; pets I had that always gave unconditional love. Thank you to my loved one, who is such a mirror and always shows me where I go wrong, my friends and fellow travellers – Swarupa, Claude, Don, and … so many more loving people in my life and on my path. All the therapists who helped me enormously; I wouldn’t be here as I am without their support!
